I believe someone who is against my argument will say that the regular schools will be holding the smart kids in an environment of students that are not in the same educational level as them.
To dismiss my counteclaim I will said that for a growth mindset the environment does not affect you, I believe that in a classroom there are all kinds of students and a growth mindset will always go for the best and not matter where they are they will always do the best.

I will evaluate my progress in this class from 0-4, I have a 3. I believe I might have a 3 because I miss some days and I havent turned in some work. I am missing the independent reading sheet and some reflections. I need to cacth up and turn in the work that I am missing.

Watch the video and identify one specific aspect of mindset that you want to change. Explain why.
I will want to work on some aspects of mindset, I want to change threatened by others success from my growth mindset because sometimes I fell like giving up when someone already achieve and had success on something that I was trying to accomplish and I feel like threatened by their success.
I also would like to change from a fixed mindset the aspect of not reaching its best, I always try to reach for the best but i still need to work on because sometimes I do stuff only to get it done knowing that I could do better than that.

To change some aspects of my mindset I will always remember myself to do better and eveytime I am doing something to not think about what others think or if they already had success doing what im trying to do.

I think we are born with a growth mindset because nobody born knowing, we born with talents and as we go on in life we develop them, and I also believe that when we in the process of finding our identity we start developing our mindset some might grow a fixed mindset or some will continue with their growth mindset.

Quick Write: Be honest. Do you really think changing your mindset can change your grades for the better? Why or why not?
Yes I believe if I change my mindset my grades will be higher because I will love challenges more and will try to always do more and not wait for the last minute to do my classwork or homework.
the findings in the experiment are credible. The study was to find out if the mindset connects with grades. In order to find out which student's in the 7th grade had a growth or fixed mindset they were given a test. During the experiment the students with the growth mindset received higher grades while the students with a fixed mindset grades decreased. The study showed that having a growth mindset can improve your grades.

Quick Write: Fill in the blanks: It is my strong opinion that the best thing ever invented was the telephone. I say this because the people were able to communicate without having to see each other face to face. Another reason I believe this is because later on it became the best way for families to talk to each other instead of having to travel and not talk.

I believe I am not as good as I was yesterday because I feel like I am slacking this marking period and also yesterday I used to be more focus on school and always be on school and now I been absent a lot of days and I became lazy and missed a lot of work.

In your opinion should smart kids have their own classrooms or schools like Stuyvesant or Bronx Science? Why or why not?
Im a opponent of tracking because the labels the students are given early stay with them. all the students should learn the same and be treated equally.
Claim: students are not meeting the special schools criteria and are being kick out

I am against the selective schools for smart kids, I believe the kids shouldn't be tested based on test and should not have that kind of labels as "Smart Kids" and "Not Smarts"
